Amir Khan Next Fight Still Unconfirmed; Pac-Man Gets The Last Say On Who To Fight Says Bob Arum

When will Amir Khan ever step to the ring again? Some believes he is wasting precious time waiting for Manny Pacquiao to fight him but who could blame him? Should he get the fight against Pac-Man, it will be his biggest payday per boxing promoter Eddie Hearn.

"I don't believe Pacquiao will get in the ring because there's little reward for him," he told SkySports.

"For Khan, there's his biggest pay-day, a fight that will go down in the history of British boxing and a world title on the line. There's talk of Khan fighting Danny Garcia again. Some will feel that's as tough a fight as the Brook fight but I guarantee you the Brook fight will pay twice the money, so I don't understand."

Just a few weeks ago, Amir Khan said he already sent a contract to Pacquiao's camp that will finalize their fight. However, Top Rank CEO Bob Arum debunked Khan's statement and said nothing is official yet.

"I haven't sent a contract to him. We haven't sent anything to him," Arum told ESPN's Dan Rafael. "Don't you think I'm the promoter of the fight and I would know if I sent a contract? It's not true. This is ridiculous. There is no deal. There is no contract. There has been no decision whatsoever."

Bob Arum said that the final say is on Manny Pacquiao on who he wants to fight next. His fight, allegedly his last, is set on April 9, 2016.

"Top Rank has sent a contract to neither [Khan nor Crawford]. Top Rank will send a contract to one of them when Manny makes his decision on who he wants to fight," Arum said.

"Right now, what we are doing is trying to decide between Crawford and Khan for April 9. I don't know what Khan said he signed. Don't I have the right to draw up a contract with either guy? I don't know who Manny wants to fight."
