“Attack On Titan” trailer shows off more of its gameplay.
The movies didn’t do as well as many hoped, but the fans of “Attack On Titan” are still hoping that the series will be able to redeem itself through the anticipated sequel to the anime series.
While fans have been given the films to digest while waiting for the news of a new season of the anime series, Koei Tecmo is also reaching out into gaming to give fans and gamers the “Attack On Titan” experience.
A new teaser “Attack On Titan” trailer was released by Koei Tecmo and previewed more of the dynamic gameplay for the video game. The main focus of this trailer is to show off the 3D- maneuver gear in action. Here the members of the Survey Corps are seen flying the through the air and cutting down Titans as they wreck havoc within the city.
For those that don’t know what 3D- maneuver gear is, it is the weapon that the Survey Corps use to kill titans.
The game is reportedly based on the first season of the “Attack On Titan” anime, but there aren’t a lot of details released regarding the plot. Gamespot reported that there were screenshots released to show the main protagonist Eren Yeager training on a wooden Titan dummy, as reported by Gamespot.
“This immersive new trailer serves as a reminder of the claustrophobic feel and dark atmosphere of the anime,” according to a press release on Playstation Lifestyle. “It offers a glimpse into the game’s exciting battle action and the player’s use of the famed 3D-maneuver gear, and encapsulates the overall feel of the yet-to-be-named title, currently planned for release in 2016 in the west.”
The “Attack On Titan” video game is developed by Omega Force, the same developer that did “Dynasty Warriors.”
