With the anticipated release of 104 Xbox One backward compatible games on Nov. 12, would Xbox users be generally excited about it?
Tweak Town claimed that while "Microsoft is making good on their promise by releasing the full list of the first 104 Xbox 360 games that have made the cut," it has somehow failed still considering that "a good portion of popular favorites are absent--most notably 'Red Dead Redemption' and 'Call of Duty: Black Ops.'"
The site noted, however, that this is just the initial list and more Xbox One titles are expected to be added in the list of backward compatible games starting December.
"Microsoft affirms that this is just the beginning of backwards compatibility, and "more titles will be revealed starting December,'" the report revealed.
But despite this promise from the game console's developer, it was learned that "Red Dead Redemption's" inclusion must not be anticipated still, except for "Halo: Reach," "Black Ops" and every "BioShock" game.
"So really, don't expect anything truly amazing with the new Xbox updates: backward compatibility will be lukewarm at launch," the report commented, while adding that "the New Xbox One Experience still suffers from the console's badly designed firmware. "
In the meantime, IGN shared that among the confirmed games that will be included in the first batch of titles with the Xbox One backward compatibility feature are "A Kingdom for Keflings," "Assassins Creed II," "Bejeweled 2," "Blood of the Werewolf," "Castle Crashers," "Crazy Taxi," "DiRT 3," "Bellator: MMA Onslaught," "Dungeon Siege III," "Fallout 3," "Feeding Frenzy," "Halo: Spartan Assault," "LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game," "LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga," "NBA Jam: ON Fire Edition," "Sonic The Hedgehog" and "Zuma."
The tech site disclosed that the list of these Xbox One backward compatible games will continuously expand starting next month.
