"Star Wars" Disneyland Hollywood Studios will start
December is the month that fans have been desperately waiting for. Since the news of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" made headlines, every loyal fan has been counting down to the days when they'd be able to return to the "Star Wars" universe.
In line with the December release of the seventh film installment, Disneyland has planned to bring "the force" to park goers of both Disneyland and Disney World.
According to Disney Parks, guests who will be visiting Disney's Hollywood Studios will be able to experience four new attractions starting Dec. 1 as a buffer in line with the December release of the film. New and old fans of the "Star Wars" film franchise will be able to experience the the fictional world every time they visit the park.
The "Star Wars" Disney Hollywood Studios experience starts with the "Star Wars Launch Bay" located in the Animation Courtyard. Here guests will be able to look at special exhibits, exclusive merchandies, peeks into the behind-the-scenes production, and opportunities to encounter some of the beloved characters from the film.
"Star Tours: The Adventures Continues," as reported by Screenrant, will feature a new adventures inspired by the latest film installment where guests will be taken on a flight on the Millenium Falcon going through the desert planet Jakku.
The "younglings" or kids who dream of becoming a Jedi will love "Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple." The Jedi training experience will bring the "younglings" to an ancient Jedi Temple where they will have to go against Darth Vader and Seventh Sister ("Star Wars Rebels" villain).
Another attraction that fans will love is the nostalgic scenes from the "Star Wars: Path of the Jedi." This is better explained as a crash course in getting to know more about the saga and the universe of the film franchise.
Disney's "Star Wars" Land will be a 14-acre project that will start going into production in 2016. While this may be good news for the "Star Wars" fandom, the down side is that "Star Wars" weekends will be discontinued to make way for the construction for the new section.
In other news, Disney's "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" opens in theatres on Dec 18, 2015.
