'Life Is Strange 2' Gets Leaked In An Interview, Will Max's Story Be Continued?

“Life Is Strange 2” has been confirmed.

The episodic graphic adventure game has already finished season one with the release of its last episode last month. The reviews of the game were very good and had already sold about one million copies by the end of July 2015, so it was only a matter of time until “Life Of Strange 2” was going to happen.

“I worked as a script doctor on ‘Life Is Strange,’ developed by the studio Dontnod, and I will participate on ‘Life is Strange 2’ later,” said Dontnod co-founder Alain Damasio in an interview with French publication Alchimy. Reddit user Koyl translated the statement as it was originally stated in French.

Dontnod already had intentions of coming up with a second season of the video game back in 2014. On Polygon, producer Luc Baghadoust stated that he would “Love to have an opportunity to do another season.”

Cinemablend reported that the critics seemed to really enjoy the game as it told a very unique story in a way that is becoming increasingly popular. Even other games from tell-tale such as “Wolf Among Us” and “The Walking Dead” have followed in suit.

There is currently no release date for “Life Is Strange 2.” Whether the sequel will continue the story of Max is or start a completely different story arc is unknown.

“Life Is Strange” is a video game developed by Dontnod Entertainment and is published by Square Enix. It follows Maxine Caulfield, a photography student who finds out she can rewind time at any moment. This leads every one of her choices to enact the butterfly effect.
