Bridget Moynahan's pregnancy with Tom Brady's first child apparently brought struggles into his early dating days with model Gisele Bundchen.
According to the retired supermodel herself in an interview with Charlie Rose on "CBS This Morning," the pregnancy surprise took a toll on their early dating days. She admitted that she was at a crossroads then on whether to pursue the relationship further or just dump the New England Patriots player.
"It was a challenging thing," the retired model said. "Here I am, thinking I'm dating this guy, we met, we started dating and everything is great, and this happens."
"It was one of those moments of like, do I just run away?" she pointed out.
Bundchen did not regret sticking by Brady's side despite the ordeal though and was quite grateful for the happiness that Tom Brady and Bridget Moynahan's son brought to the family.
"He's kind. He's a good man," she was quoted in saying by E! Online. "I couldn't have asked for a sweeter bonus child."
Gisele Bundchen's revelation about her relationship with the NFL star came in the heel of rumors that she's purportedly trying to hide the struggles in her marriage.
In an item on OK! magazine last month, it was mentioned that the couple's marriage was in "turmoil" and the model was allegedly bent on hiding their problems.
"She doesn't want the world to know the turmoil her marriage is in," an insider told the source above. "Gisele can't stand pity and won't let anyone see how difficult things are. She'll do whatever it takes to maintain her status."
This is not the first time though that the retired model and NFL player's marriage has been in the news. In September, he also quashed rumors they were heading for splitsville.
"We're in a great place, I'll just say that," he told Boston Sports' WEEI as cited by Entertainment Tonight. "I'm a lucky man."
Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen also share a great relationship in co-parenting, Thomas, along with Bridget Moynahan.
"I never made a comment about Gisele or Tom publicly," the "Coyote Ugly" actress shared to More magazine in 2011 as quoted by People. "I have a relationship with these people on a daily basis. I'm raising a child, and it's public. The media creates these dramas, and that's not what's happening in my life."
