LA Clippers center DeAndre Jordan finally got to play his first game in the Dallas Mavericks arena and as expected, a lot of boos surrounded the controversial center.
This is after Jordan made a verbal commitment with the Dallas Mavericks and owner Mark Cuban that he will play for them this season, only to change his mind before the deadline ends.
This caused plenty of distraught in social media which led to an emoji war between players from both teams.
Now that everything is said than done, the Mavericks defeated the Clippers, 118-108. Forward Chandler Parsons talked about if the DJ drama is over and here's what he said:
"He's not a priority to us," Parsons told ESPN.com. "And by the looks of their team, he's not to them, either."
Jordan, meanwhile, said that he is tired of the issue and wants to move on and focus playing basketball. He also said that he expected a lot worse when he visits the home court of the Dallas Mavericks.
"OK, I'm tired of answering the same questions," Jordan said. "I talked about this three months ago. Ultimately, I made a decision that was for me. And hopefully over time people will understand that. If not, talk to Mark [Cuban] about it."
Lastly, Mark Cuban said that he might just release the conversations he had with Jordan and once again threw some barbs towards the center.
"It's not like DeAndre and I pinkie-swore," said Cuban,. "It's not like we've been friends forever. It's not like he broke some trust we had. You know, he turned out to be who we thought he was."
