'Final Fantasy 7' PS4 Remake Update: Composer Nobuo Uematso Won't Be Involved In The Remake

“Final Fantasy 7” composer isn’t going to be involved in the remade version of the Square Enix video game.

Every Final Fantasy fan will be very familiar with the musical score that plays while they are playing the game. If not for the magical music, some of the best cinematic scenes during the game wouldn’t have as great an effect overall, and it just wouldn’t be the same.

Most of the characters have their own themes and each part of the game has a specific score that play throughout plus it is easy to recall.

However, the legendary “Final Fantasy 7” composer Nobuo Uematsu, the one responsible for many of the memorable musical pieces throughout the video game franchise and many other Square Enix games, is reportedly not going to be involved in the video game remake.

“Not at all,” was Uematsu’s reply when he was interview via livestream and asked if he would be making an updated score for the “Final Fantasy 7” remake, as reported by Jeuxvideo.

While this may come as a disappointment to fans who were looking forward to something new from Uematsu in the game, Square Enix has assured fans that there is much more to look forward to.

IGN reported that the upcoming “Final Fantasy 7” remake is not just a remastered version of the original game. Square Enix stressed that they are taking this opportunity to attack the game in an entirely new direction. Even the company is experimenting with a new battle system in order to upgrade the original turn-based gameplay.

There is no announcement on when the remake will not be released, nor are there full details on the game’s storyline.
