This weekend, Toho Animation began streaming the first official "My Hero Academia" anime trailer is now streaming online. The trailer, which is available to view below, features the first look at one of the main characters of the series All-Might.
So far, fans are responding to the new "My Hero Academia" anime trailer with much excitement.
"This looks freaking awesome. Not too much shown in the PV yet, but the production value looks top notch. I have high expectations for this adaptation," said Stark700 in an ANN forum.
According to Crunchyroll, the "My Hero Academia" anime series will be directed by Kenji Nagasaki. Yousuke Kuroda will handle the scripts for the series and Yoshiko Umakoshi will provide the character designs.
"My Hero Academia" was originally a manga series by Kohei Horikoshi. The series is currently running in Weekly Shonen Jump. Viz Media is simultaneously publishing the chapters and released the first volume of the manga in August.
The story of "My Hero Academia" is described by My Anime List as follows:
"People are not born equal, a realization that 4-year-old Midoriya Izuku faced when bullied by his classmates who had unique special powers. Izuku was one of the rare cases where he was born with absolutely no unique powers. This did not stop Izuku from pursuing his dream, a dream of becoming a great hero like the legendary All-Might."
It goes on:
"To become the great hero he hopelessly wants to become, he now will join the ranks of one of the highest rated 'Hero Academies' in the country: Yueiko. With the help of his idol All-Might, will he be able to claim the ranks and become a true hero?"
