Gerard Butler does look hot in garbs from ancient civilization, but that doesn't mean that he wants to keep playing those roles. So he may be channeling his frustration for typecasting in movies like "Gods of Egypt" on wedding planning with his girlfriend Morgan Brown.
According to Entertainment Weekly, "Gerard Butler is ready to rule the desert in an exclusive new character poster for Gods of Egypt, Lionsgate's fantasy epic inspired by Egyptian mythology. Butler first broke through as an action hero playing the buff Spartan leader Leonidas in 300, and the Scottish actor returns to the sword-and-sandals genre playing Set, the god of darkness and the desert."
If the actor plays another hero of an ancient civilization, he may start flipping tables.
But good news for Gerard Butler, his wedding to his girlfriend Morgan Brown may not be long after "London Has Fallen" premiere. With "London Has Fallen" trailer just out to the public, Gerard Butler and Morgan Brown may be able to set a wedding date soon!
According to Just Jared, "Gerard Butler is reprising his role as Secret Service head Mike Banning in the upcoming movie London Has Fallen and the trailer for the film was just released!"
As usual, "Phantom of the Opera" star looked the part of a no-nonsense and also ultra sexy serviceman. The fans must be thrilled to see him again on silver screens.
There has been rumors that Gerard Butler was too busy to plan the wedding with his girlfriend Morgan Brown. Having started another movie means that Gerard Butler will have less time this summer to concentrate on his rumored engagement to Morgan Brown and the wedding.
With Hollywood folding into autumn, Morgan Brown may have to find creative ways to get her man's involvement in wedding planning.
In fact, Gerard Butler may be getting more and more stressed out about his relationship with girlfriend Morgan Brown. The actor took to a lone hike in Malibu, hinting that he needed some space to clear out a few things.
According to Just Jared, "Gerard Butler tunes out the world with headphones while taking a hike throughout Leo Carrillo State Park on Wednesday (October 7) in Malibu, Calif. The 45-year-old actor has been fairly quiet on social media for the past few months."
While the supposedly engaged couple has not been able to spend more than a week apart from each other, this solo time for the not-for-long bachelor may have been a good therapy for him.
