'Xenoblade Chronicles X' English Version Won't Get A Couple Of Controversial Features From The Japanese Version

"Xenoblade Chronicles X" is getting a Western release but have every feature in the game.

Western releases of video games are becoming more and more common, it goes to show how much fans enjoy games from different parts of the world. While there is no wrong way to enjoy playing video games, the companies creating the games seem to think otherwise when they cut out on one of the features in the Western version of "Xenoblade Chronicles X."

According to Siliconera, one of the most obvious changes is how Lyn's bikini option has been covered up and made more modest in the English version. This is most likely because she's just 13-years-old in the game. However, in the Japanese version she can wear practically any outfit.

Fortunately, the more modest costume only applies to Lyn, all the other characters can wear the outfits without any changes done to them.

On the otherhand, VG24/7 noted that the English version of "Xenoblade Chronicles X" did not include the chest slider in the character creator of the game. In the Japanese version, this particular slider was included to increase or decrease the bust size of a female character to suit the gamer's preference.

The Western version, however, only has a default bust size.

Other than the outfit change and the chest slider there isn't really much of a difference between the two versions.

"Xenoblade Chronicles X" is an action RPG game originally from Japan. It was developed by Monolith Soft and published by Nintendo for the Wii U.

The game centers on several different characters that also include the customizable avatar Elma and Lyn. Their wish is to be able to co-exist with the indigenous creatures native to a hostile alien planet while being able to protect humanity as well.
