Kit Harington To Be Resurrected On 'Game of Thrones'? Emilia Clarke Doesn't Think So

A dead "Game of Thrones" character will be coming back this season 6 as confirmed by the new star in the HBO TV series, Ian McShane. The fans' latest guess was Kit Harington's character but Emilia Clark has explained before her thoughts on Jon Snow.

As reported by Pop Goes The News, "Deadwood's" Ian McShane will be coming into "Game of Thrones" in a still unannounced character. But in an interview, the actor pointed out that his role included apparently resurrecting a dead favorite from the HBO TV series.

"I am responsible for bringing somebody back that you think you're never going to see again," he said last week to the source above. "I'll leave it at that."

He even added that his screen time on the series was short-lived but very vital to the plot.

"[It's] a one-off episode," explained. "But I can't reveal anything, otherwise I will never work again."

Despite Ian McShane keeping mum, fans were quick to share their guesses on the would-be resurrected character. In a report on Entertainment Weekly, it was mentioned that fans were quick to conclude that one among Lady Stoneheart, The Hound, Myrcella Baratheon, Stannis Baratheon and Bran Stark may be reportedly coming back.

But the ultimate guess remained Kit Harington's character, Jon Snow. Many had been expecting his return as he continued to sport his long hair and had been seen in Belfast for some time despite his death on the end of "Game of Thrones" season 5. Emilia Clarke though has offered an explanation on the Harington sightings.

"And isn't he dead?" the Daenerys Targaryen actress told Entertainment Tonight. "Exactly."

I think that he loves us, I think that he misses us, and I think that we like to mess with those people who are snooping around our set, trying to get information that they don't really want to know," Emilia Clarke added about the Kit Harington "Game of Thrones" set sightings.
