We're getting closer and closer to the "Digimon Adventure Tri" premiere, and now there is a live stream to anticipate as well!
On Monday, the website Tamer Union released information on an upcoming NicoNico live stream for "Digimon Adventure Tri," featuring voice actors Takaishi Takeru, Kido Jyo, Enoki Junya and Ikeda Junya. Reportedly, the live stream will take place one day before the Japanese premiere of the first "Tri" movie, "Reunion."
"The 'Next Order' website directing readers to the broadcast may point to an announcement related to the game being made in the stream, as last month's issue of V Jump magazine referred to 'Tri' and 'Next Order' having 'linked content,'" read the post.
Reportedly, NicoNico will also host live stream viewings of the previous Digimon movies on Nov. 18 and 19, including "Digimon Adventure" and "Our War Game."
The live stream will begin at 7:50 a.m. EST on Nov. 20, 2015.
Last month, various online portals began uploading the first five minutes of the first "Digimon Adventure Tri" movie, "Reunion." Within it, Season 2 DigiDestined Cody, Yolei, Davis and Ken make an appearance in what appears to be a gruesome battle with Alphamon.
"I can't get over the fact that it seems they killed the main characters of Season 2," commented Milo Mondo on YouTube. "It's one thing to pretend they never happened, but this?"
Meanwhile, the upcoming Digimon game "Next Order" follows Takuto, a senior high school student who has loved Digimon since he was young. In fifth grade, he was the runner up of a Japanese Digimon game tournament. Agumon and Gabumon will be his partner Digimon.
"Digimon World: Next Order" is set to be released in Japan some time in 2016.
