Anne Hathaway was surprised by all the "love and support" she received on her birthday from her Instagram followers. When she took to Instagram on her 33rd birthday to gain more popularity, the actress was pleasantly surprised by how supportive her fans were!
According to Refinery29, "Hathaway posted a throwback Thursday pic for her 33rd birthday thanking the warm community she's found on Instagram, which the actress joined in August of last year. She admitted she wasn't necessarily expecting the support."
In the Instagram photo caption, she wrote, "I really didn't know what to expect from opening myself up to social media, but I certainly wasn't prepared for the outpouring of love and support I have been lucky enough to receive from you all (well, most of you). You filled my 32nd year with so much light, joy, and positivity, and I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate it."
Sounds like Anne Hathaway isn't used to getting support from the public.
But this may be thanks to all the conscious efforts she has been making to get more "likable" in the public's eye. She recently nominated herself as Hollywood's Miss Congeniality, throwing attention to the other nominees for People's Choice Awards.
According to Daily Mail, "Anne Hathaway has proved Sandra Bullock, Meryl Streep, Scarlett Johansson and Melissa McCarthy have access to the fountain of youth. To celebrate her nomination for Favorite Movie Actress at the People's Choice Awards, the 32-year-old has heaped praise on her competition by posting a picture of their old yearbook photographs."
Looks like Anne Hathaway is happy being the nice girl at the pageant.
This could be influenced by the rumored baby plans that Anne Hathaway and her husband are cooking up! But for now "Les Miserable" actress is keeping her rumored pregnancy under tip-top secret as she continues to work in Hollywood.
According to Red Book Mag, "Apparently, she and her jewelry designer, hubby, Adam Shulman, have been "trying for awhile now... To finally have some good news is incredible for them. It came as a surprise, because they'd actually given up recently, worried they were just stressing themselves out over it-and then, of course, it happened!""
Sounds like Anne Hathaway and Adam Shulman are in possession of really good news.
