"Plants vs. Zombies 2" goes way back into the past with its newest update.
When a horde of zombies are hungry for brains, planting flowers that are hungry for zombies should be the perfect solution to that. Things aren't that simple anymore when "Plants vs. Zombies 2" goes back into the prehistoric times when dinosaurs roamed the earth.
According to IGN, The new content for "Plants vs. Zombies 2" is called "Jurassic Marsh" where dinosaurs and ancienrt plant life take the spotlight.The animated defense video game will be getting the themed content on Nov. 19, 2015.
"Jurassic Marsh" brings a number of new plants like the Primal Peashooter, the Primal Wall-nut and the scattered-firing Grapeshot. If you are already familiar with the game the update will possibly change general design of the plants so that they match the pre-historic theme.
The update will reportedly introduce dinosaurs into the game for the very first time, this includes a Raptor, Stegosaurus, and Pterodactyl.
Apart from the prehistoric defense dinosaurs and plants, the update will also have 16 new levels and 7 new pre-historic zombie additions for the "Jurassic Marsh" update Part 1. There will be a Part 2 but there are no details announced by Pop Cap.

The main objective of the game is to defend your home from an army of zombies that come in different waves with the goal of "eating your brains." The only weapons provided to protect you are plants with different defensive and offensive abilites.
