'Dissidia Final Fantasy' Trailer Brings Back 15 Well-Loved Characters In One Game

"Final Fantasy" video games have evolved through the years with different storylines, gameplay and characters. Despite the changes made with each game, fans and gamers keep coming back to play the new games.

Each gamer has their own preference when it comes to choosing a character to play, however, when it comes to role-playing games like "Final Fantasy" there isn't really much of an option as the game will always follow the main protagonists' storyline.

"Dissidia Final Fantasy" is a game that Square Enix came up with to allow players to play their favorite "Final Fantasy" character in a cross over style. Fans and gamers tend to wonder how their favorite character would measure up to a character in another game in the series, so "Dissidia" is the perfect way to put their character of choice to the test. There was a game of the same name released years ago but the game getting released next week is a reboot.

There are newly released "Dissidia Final Fantasy" trailers released that briefly previewed the fifteen characters who are included in the game. It also previews the their skills and abilities against an opponent.

The characters who appear in the trailers are the Warrior of Light from "Final Fantasy," Firion from "Final Fantasy 2," Onion Knight from "Final Fantasy 3," Cecil Harvey from "Final Fantasy 4," Bartz Klauser from "Final Fantasy 5," Terra Branford from "Final Fantasy 6," Cloud Strife from "Final Fantasy 7," Squall Leonhart from "Final Fantasy 8," Zidane Tribal from "Final Fantasy 9," Tidus from "Final Fantasy 10," Shantotto from "Final Fantasy 11," Vaan from "Final Fantasy 12," Lightning from "Final Fantasy 13" and Y'shtola from "Final Fantasy 14."

In true Square Enix style, the graphics were meticulously done and and each of the characters appear in their iconic costume style. The characters who have appeared in the first few "Final Fantasy" games were given upgrades in terms of character design to match the more recent additions in the "Final Fantasy" universe.

"Dissidia Final Fantasy" will be released on Nov. 26, 2015 in Japan as a Playstation 4 exclusive, according to Gamespresso. There is no word on when and if an English version will be made and release worldwide.
