Although the Pokemon community is focused on Zygarde at the moment, the Legendary Diancie is making a comeback thanks to a new distribution event.
According to Serebii, a shiny Diancie will be distributed through Pokemon Centers, which has not been obtainable up until now. Reportedly, it will be available Dec. 12 to Dec. 31.
It's possible this event will mirror the Diancie distribution that occurred in North America back in July. Although it was not a shiny Pokemon, the Diancie which was distributed held the moves Diamond Storm, Moonblast, Dazzling Gleam and Protect.
Coincidentally, the Pokemon movie "Diancie & the Cocoon of Destruction" is also now available on iTunes in North America and parts of Europe. Reportedly, a special interactive iBook of the movie is also available, which is a 48-page story with clips of the movie.
The movie is available for £3.99/$4.99.
The timing seems perfect, as rumors speculate there will be major Pokemon updates about the next movie before the end of the year.
On Saturday, Serebii noted a preview for next month's CoroCoro, which "has a note stating that big Pokemon news for 2016 will be revealed in the issue."
"Typically in the issues released in December, the first details of the next movie are revealed, but the issue doesn't clarify if this is what it is referring to," write the website. "The magazine is due for release on Dec. 15."
Since much of the main franchise has been devoted to the growing intrigue around the Zygarde Formes, more information on the "XY & Z" anime or the upcoming movie would reveal more on the direction of future games.
