A year before the anime adaptation was even announced, manga fans had already predicted that the series would have a huge break-out.

For those who have seen the excitement build since it's manga fame, all the recent "My Hero Academia" news makes plenty of sense.

The news just keeps on coming as today ANN revealed that the "My Hero Academia" manga series will be adapted into both a 3DS game and an arcade card game. The Nintendo 3DS game is entitled "My Hero Academia: Battle for All" and will be released by Bandai Namco Entertainment and the arcade game cards will be produced by Takara Tomy Arts.

As mentioned above, fans of the manga series are noticing how quickly the excitement is building for "My Hero Academia":

"Holy cow, they are really pushing this series as the next big thing. I mean, I also think it's going to blow up . . . but I never expected a 3DS game," said Nakurawari in an ANN forum.

"My Hero Academia" was originally a manga series by Kohei Horikoshi. The series is currently running in Weekly Shonen Jump. Viz Media is simultaneously publishing the chapters and released the first volume of the manga in August.

The story of "My Hero Academia" is described by My Anime List as follows:

"People are not born equal, a realization that 4-year-old Midoriya Izuku faced when bullied by his classmates who had unique special powers. Izuku was one of the rare cases where he was born with absolutely no unique powers. This did not stop Izuku from pursuing his dream, a dream of becoming a great hero like the legendary All-Might."

It goes on:

"To become the great hero he hopelessly wants to become, he now will join the ranks of one of the highest rated 'Hero Academies' in the country: Yueiko. With the help of his idol All-Might, will he be able to claim the ranks and become a true hero?"
