Apple Watch 2 Release Date Expected By Spring? FaceTime To Be Included?

Part of Apple's program is the upgrading of their line of gadgets every year and the Apple Watch 2 is not far from having a release date.

According to a report by International Business Times, the newest wearable technology that complements the Apple phones are expected to be announced in less that five months, as they wait for the annual spring event of Apple.

With the holidays coming, Apple CEO Tim Cook revealed how thrilled they are with the sales of the first set of watches that they expect the orders to double in the next few weeks.

"I think it's going to be a huge holiday season. We're extremely optimistic," Cook said. "We shipped the Watch first in the June quarter and we sold a lot. We sold even more than that in the September quarter. And we're looking for a big holiday season."

Furthermore, a report from DigiTimes revealed that Quanta, the company that manufactures the watches, received orders from Apple that might point out to a potential Apple Watch 2 release date.

"Quanta, the maker of the Apple Watch, is expected to see related orders surging in 2016 and the ODM reportedly has also received orders for Apple's second-generation Apple Watch for the second quarter of 2016," the site said.

Meanwhile, features of the Apple Watch 2 on its release date hasn't been officially revealed but rumors and speculations come in for the second generation of smart watches.

According to a PC Advisor report, expected specs on the new Apple Watch 2, come its release date, could potentially have a camera for FaceTime features to make and receive video calls on your wrist.

Furthermore, there are also reports of a better battery life for the new watch and could function independently and depend less on the phones.

There are no official release dates set for the Apple Watch 2 as of now but is expected to come out in 2016.
