Ellen DeGeneres and Portia Di Rossi are looking for a new house. While this may not seem like gossip fodder, give it time. Everything the "Scandal" star and the host of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" do gets turned into a story about a divorce.

Variety reported that DeGeneres and de Rossi went to Platinum Triangle real estate company Peter Propertyseller in search of a house. The couple secretly bought a "1960s contemporary in a particularly plummy pocket of Beverly Hills," according to Variety. The asking price was reported to be around $16 million.

Property records show the dwelling comes is 5,300 square feet. It has four bedrooms and eight bathrooms.

Variety says DeGeneres and de Rossi have owned and sold over a dozen properties across Southern California over the past 10 or 12 years.

Ellen DeGeneres recently celebrated the 2,000th episode of her talk show. She celebrated by showing video of celebrities like Emily Blunt, Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, Halle Berry, Nicki Minaj, Kristen Wiig, Selena Gomez and the Modern Family screaming in terror. DeGeneres has performed 121 scares on The Ellen DeGeneres Show since it began.

Ellen DeGeneres made Gwen Stefani blush when she asked the former No Doubt singer if her boyfriend, Blake Shelton, is a good kisser.

DeGeneres opened by showing the audience a photo of Stefani sitting on Shelton's lap on the set of The Voice.

"I don't know where that came from," Ellen deadpanned.

"I don't know why that's up there. That's right! He's one of the coaches. And probably during another commercial break you're on Adam's lap."

"Ride 'em cowboy...I'm usually on one of their laps between each commercial," Stefani admitted.

Us Weekly broke the news that Stefani and Shelton, 39, are dating. They met when Stefani joined The Voice as a coach on season 7.

Stefani debuted her hit single "Used to Love You" on The Ellen DeGeneres Show about two weeks ago. The song was written and recorded in the wake of her divorce from Bush's Gavin Rossdale.

"It had just come out the day before or something, so I don't think people really understood what that song was about. I think people were like, 'What is she saying?' And then, of course, stuff leaked out and people found out," DeGeneres told the singer.

"After the show I was like, 'Look at her!' Because I was so proud of how strong you are."

Stefani admitted that she was so "super emotional" that "I even think I sang one of the lyrics wrong. And it was totally wrong! But no one caught it."
