This weekend, "Digimon Adventure" fans were able to take a trip down memory lane with the premiere of the new "Digimon Adventure Tri" anime series.
Unfortunately, fans only got part one, "Reunion," and must wait for the remaining five parts of the series.
Luckily, shortly after the premiere, the second "Digimon Adventure Tri" release date was announced. According to Anime News Network, "Digimon Adventure Tri" part two "Determination" will be released on March 12.
So far, fans are reacting to the release date announcement with satisfaction. That is to say, they're not completely devastated by the four month wait until the next episode of "Digimon Adventure Tri."
"Quite a few months of waiting, but I'm alright with that. I hope the continuation can go with the momentum the first movie has set up," said Stark700 in an ANN forum.
"Digimon Adventure Tri" is directed by Keitaro Motonaga with series composition by Yuuko Kakihara. The characters for the series are designed by Atsuya Uki and the music for the series is composed by Go Sakabe. Toei is responsible for the animation production.

The "Digimon Adventure Tri" six part film series is a sequel to the original 1999 "Digimon Adventure" anime series. The new films were created in celebration of the 15 year anniversary since the original anime series premiere. The first film, "Sakai" ("Reunion") is now streaming online via Crunchyroll. The remaining "Digimon Adventure Tri" anime parts will premiere some time on Crunchyroll during the 2016 winter anime season.
