A new trailer for the upcoming "Seraph of the End" PS Vita game is now streaming online courtesy of Bandai Namco Entertainment. The new trailer, available to view below, previews gameplay, cut scenes, and a bit of character introductions. The "Seraph of the End" PS Vita game will be released in Japan on Dec. 17.
Anime News Network reports that the title of the "Seraph of the End" PS Vita game will cost 6,800 yen ($55 dollars). Those who buy the first printing of the game will receive a PlayStation vita theme, digital illustration gallery, and talk with the voice actors who play the three main characters.
The purpose of the "Seraph of the End" PS Vita game is to level up their bonds with comrades on the battlefield. The game is considered a "dramatic tactics battle" game, in which fans receive special endings if they build enough trust with their comrades during battle.
For those not familiar with the franchise, "Seraph of the End" was originally a manga series by Daisuke Furuya, Takaya Kagami, and Yamato Yamamoto. The manga was adapted into a TV anime series that is currently being streamed by Funimation to fans outside of Japan.
Anime News Network summarizes the "Seraph of the End" story as follows:
"After an unknown virus wiped out all adults on earth, vampires appeared and ruled over the surviving children, treating them like livestock."
It goes on:
"Yuichiro Hyakuya survived along with other orphans by giving their blood to vampires, until Yuichiro escaped four years ago. Now he is a member of the Moon Demon Company, a unit in the Japanese army dedicated to hunting down the vampires he blames for the death of his family."
