LA Clippers In Trouble? Coach Doc Rivers, Josh Smith And Blake Griffin Frustrated With Team Play

The LA Clippers are failing to meet expectations as after the starting the season with an impressive 4-0 slate, they have now lost seven of their last nine games, dropping them to 6-7.

Their recent setback was by the hands of the Toronto Raptors and the aftermath of the game was not pleasant at all. Also, after leading by as much as 23 points against the undefeated Golden State Warriors and having the best chance to halt their winning streak, they failed to capitalize on their possessions during crucial points in the game.

In a report by NBC Sports, the LA Clippers locker room was in disarray as people can be heard shouting at one another. The player highly involved was allegedly forward Josh Smith.

"Josh Smith and an unspecified Clipper coach were involved in a frustration-fueled argument following the Clippers' 91-80 loss to Toronto Sunday," as stated in the website.

"Profanities and yelling made their way through the cement walls separating the Clipper locker room from an adjacent room where the media was waiting to speak to head coach Doc Rivers."

But this should no longer surprise fans as sometimes, it is necessary to vent out frustrations to improve the team's chemistry. In fact, head coach Doc Rivers said it was normal and he himself is not proud of his leadership as of the moment.

"It happens more than you think after games," Rivers told Melissa Rohlin of the Los Angeles Times. "I'm not proud of anyone right now-including me."

Clippers star Blake Griffin also admitted that they are completely lacking effort after dropping tree in a row.

"Pretty frustrating to drop three in a row. I think it's pretty normal to be frustrated," said Griffin via Rohlin.
