The public beta version of "World of Warcraft: Legion" still hasn't been released yet, but players are nevertheless getting a steady stream of information on the game courtesy of its initial preview on Battle.net.
And a lot of details are coming from "World of Warcraft" enthusiasts at MMO-Champion and WoWhead who have been hard at work, and data-mining a lot of interesting info on "World of Warcraft: Legion," reported the Inquisitr.
For instance, the pro gamers shared that the highly-popular MMORPG's transmogrification system has been given a complete overhaul.
The remodeled "World of Warcraft: Legion" transmogrification system will feature new strings, as well as new armor sets that players can add to their collection.
Players at WoWhead teased their co-gamers, as they revealed a number of global strings which reference the new transmogrification system.
The new UI elements in "World of Warcraft: Legion" will warn players that "using something for transmogrification will make it non-refundable," and at the same time, "inform them that they know the skin but not from the current item."
Moreover, the data-mined strings also confirmed that players "will be able to set outfits for certain specializations, mark items as favorites, and even name or rename saved outfits."
Meanwhile, MMO-Champion gamers ratcheted the excitement among fans , as they previewed some of the new armor sets that can be obtained in "World of Warcraft: Legion."
The previews may not be in their final form, but a number of cloth, leather, and mail sets were included in the beta files to give players a feel of the types of armor contained in the expansion set.
The game's overhauled transmogrification system will also be "account-wide," which means that any character on a player's account can unlock skins for other characters, and at the same time, have access to various weapons and armor.
In the meantime, the storyline of "World of Warcraft: Legion" kicks off with Horde and Alliance players facing off against demons on the Broken Shore, according to Cinema Blend.
As the heroes drive back the Burning Legion's invasion and attack the Tomb of Sargeras, they will go through a series of special quests which will enable them to learn the various skills of their character.
Those who pre-order "World of Warcraft: Legion" will receive a free level 100 boost for one character, while level boosts can be purchased for $59.99 per piece.
