A new album from Ed Sheeran is expected soon but the singer revealed that rumors about having a band in the record isn't true.
In a report by Rolling Stone, the singer revealed in an interview that his follow up the highly acclaimed "X" record is ready for release anytime soon and that he has some "great songs" ready for the release.
"I could probably release one of them tomorrow and have people like it," Ed Sheeran said on his new album. "'X' was full of good songs and a couple of great songs, and I feel like on the next couple of records there will be more great songs than good songs."
With talks about having a band in his new record, he revealed that he wanted to preserve his unique style and sound and not do what everyone else is doing.
"Yeah," Sheeran said. "And then I kind of was like, 'There's no one else at my level doing what I'm doing, so why would I want to do what everyone else is doing?' Surely it's better to be different. And I know my show can be better when I do it solo than if I do it with a band."
Meanwhile, in addition to new album reports, new songs were released by Ed Sheeran recently, which he added a few tracks in a re-release of "X."
In a report by Sugar Scape, the 24-year-old singer recently released a "Wembley Edition" of his previous record, which has a number of unreleased tracks that surprised some of his fans.
Songs included in the line up were "English Rose," "Touch And Go," "New York" and "Make It Rain."
The new album of Ed Sheeran is still in the works but the new songs could be streamed and downloaded via Spotify.
The songs could be seen in Spotify, which could also be streamed here.
