"Clash Of Clans" update is all focused on the shields.
Playing strategy games can be very addicting especially when it comes to making sure that you're fortress or village stays safe while you aren't playing the game on your mobile. However, despite many defense efforts, there are some times when even the best defenses still crumble.
A new "Clash Of Clan" update addresses the shield changes in the mobile game.
"Improving the shield system is a complex and delicate job, so coming update includes a broad package of changes designed to make village defense fairer, play sessions more flexible, and attacking more encouraged," said developer Supercell on Gamezone.
The newly upgraded and revamped shield system will be further detailed over several different posts, but Supercell will be focusing on two items. Town Hall destruction no longer grants a shield and attacking while shielded no longer breaks the entire shield but costs shield time instead.
The "Clash Of Clans" update explains how the shields are acquired.
At different percentages of destruction, the shields' life span varies. They vary from a 12-hour shield at 30-percent destruction, a 14-hour shield at 60-percent destruction and a 16-hour shield at 90-percent destruction.
Players should keep in mind that there is no shield granted if a player attacks without deploying at least 50-percent of a full army.
"Clash Of Clans" is a freemium online multiplayer strategy game where players build up their own community, train numerous troops and attack other fortresses in order to earn gold and elixir. These can be used to increase their fortresses and defenses and protect them from other players' attacks. If a player prefers playing alone, there is a pseudo-single campaign where players must attack fortified goblin villages.
