Admittedly, shojo anime has been somewhat missing this fall 2015 anime season.
In fact, I'm definitely feeling a lack of feel good romance this season, even though I still have high hopes for a resolution in "The Perfect Insider."
Luckily for us shojo lovers, "Snow White with the Red Hair" season two will premiere next season. Today, several new Japanese voice cast memebers were announced for the follow-up season as well as the reveal of the season two key visual (pictured above).
The "Snow White with the Red Hair" season two release date is currently set for January 2016.
So far, fans in an ANN forum are expressing excitement for "Snow White with the Red Hair" season two.
"I can't wait for this to start. This is one of the best romance anime series that you can find. I hope they do more than two seasons," said BlackPoint.
Anime News Network reports the following new Japanese voice cast members and their character roles:
Sachi Kokuryu as Kazuki
Shintarō Asanuma as Itoya
Mikako Komatsu as Eugena
Inori Minase as Rona

"Snow White with the Red Hair" season two will mark the return of director Masahiro Ando and lead voice actress Saori Hayami, who will once again voice the character of Shirayuki. In addition to playing Shirayuki, Hayami will also perform the opening theme song again. This time around, the song is entitled "Your Voice Will Become a Map."
Funimation streamed the first season of "Snow White with the Red Hair" outside of Japan, and has promised to also stream season two. For those who are not familiar with the original manga by Sorata Akiduki, Funimation describes the story of "Snow White with the Red Hair" as follows:
"In the kingdom of Tanbarun lives Shirayuki, an independent and strong-willed young woman. Her resourceful intelligence has led her become a skilled pharmacist, but her most defining trait is her shock of beautiful apple-red hair. Her dazzling mane gets her noticed by the prince of the kingdom, but instead of romancing her, he demands she be his concubine."
It goes on:
"Shirayuki refuses, chops off her lovely locks, and runs away to the neighboring kingdom of Clarines. There, she befriends a young man named Zen, who, SURPRISE, is also a prince, although with a much better temperament than the previous one. Watch as Shirayuki finds her place in the new kingdom, and in Zen's heart."
