'Star Wars: Galaxy Of Heroes' Released Today, Collect The Characters Across The Universe

"Star Wars: Galaxy Of Heroes" is already out.

There is no doubt that the "Star Wars" film franchise is one of the biggest in the world. The hardcore fanbase began decades ago when the first film by George Lucas was first released in theatres. From then on it got a cult following that keeps expanding since Disney has continued adding more to the commercial franchise.

The highly-anticipated seventh film installment "The Force Awakens" will be released in theatres next month, but the franchise won't stop expanding with just that. The "Star Wars: Battlefront" video game was just released a few days ago and now the "Star Wars: Galaxy Of Heroes" mobile has just been released.

"We've created a game for Star Wars and RPG fans where you can mix and match your favorite characters from across all the films and TV shows, creating squads with heroes from both the light and dark sides," said executive producer John Salera on IGN.

"You can strategize on which characters complement each other most, then make your custom teams more powerful with new gear and loot you win from battles, on all the planets and epic locations that you love, anytime, anywhere."

The main objective of the game has players collecting various "Star Wars" characters to create teams that can be used in battles set across a wide array of locales in the iconic galaxy far, far away.

There are reportedly over 60 characters to collect in the game and will grow as the "Star Wars" Universe grows.

The "Star Wars: Galaxy Of Heroes" is a free-to play- mobile game now available on iOS and Android.
