Hoopa Pokemon Distribution Event Begins As Johto, Unova Starters Events End

This week, a lot of movement will be seen with various Pokemon distribution events, and here is a recap so you don't miss a single event!

Last month, the official Pokemon website confirmed a Mythical Pokemon Hoopa distribution event for North America that will be in collaboration with McDonald's. This event is set to begin on Friday, Nov. 27.

"Hoopa is available at McDonald's restaurants between Nov. 27 and Dec. 23, 2015," says the notification.

"You'll need a copy of 'Pokemon X,' 'Pokemon Y,' 'Pokemon Omega Ruby,' or 'Pokemon Alpha Sapphire' as well as a system in the Nintendo 3DS family. To get Hoopa, connect to Nintendo Zone after logging on to the free Wi-Fi that is available inside participating McDonald's restaurants. The Hoopa you receive will be in its Confined form. When Hoopa is in 'Pokemon Omega Ruby' or 'Pokemon Alpha Sapphire,' it can transform into the powerful Hoopa Unbound!"

But before that, there are additional distribution events to take advantage of that will end on Monday, Dec. 1.

After running for most of 2015, the Hidden Ability Unova starter events are set to end on Monday. These special starters can be obtained via serial code, with POKEMON497 for Serperior, POKEMON500 for Emboar and POKEMON503 for Samurott.

Similarly, the Hidden Ability Johto starter events via the Pokemon Bank will also come to a close on Monday. These starters can be delivered to "X," "Y," "Omega Ruby" or "Alpha Sapphire" through the Pokemon Link feature.

Later in December, a shiny Diancie distribution event will be available through Japanese Pokemon Centers. Reportedly, it will be available Dec. 12 to Dec. 31.

It's possible this event will mirror the Diancie distribution that occurred in North America back in July. Although it was not a shiny Pokemon, the Diancie which was distributed held the moves Diamond Storm, Moonblast, Dazzling Gleam and Protect.
