Playstation 5 Update: New Progress Sparks Competition With The Xbox Two

Playstation 5 update is something fans can look forward to.

Gaming consoles have changed drastically since they were first created. While the idea was to bring arcade gaming into your home, the technology and developments greated a variety of games that are a far cry from the games in the arcades.

A Playstation 5 update is what gamers have been looking forward to especially since it has been a few years since the Playstation 4 gaming console first entered the market. Plus, VR technology will start being introduced into the consumer market next year. This means that there will be a new world of gaming possibilities to be explored by both developers and gamers.

According to Neuro Gadget, The Playstation 5 and Xbox Two could go on sale sooner than anticipated but the technology on the consoles would need an upgrade to make sure it isn't out of date by the time they get released. This is mainly because by the time that these products hit retailers, 4K gaming will be considered something mainstream already.

Apart from the 4K resolution, both Sony and Microsoft may turn to AMD to get a performance boost and possibly get a next generation processing unit that performs five times better than the current consoles already do. Apart from better performance, AMD would also incorporate backwards compatibility, according to Valuewalk.

This makes sure that the games made available in the previous consoles can still be played on the new console, thus giving players peace of mind when it comes to upgrading to a Playstation 5 from a Playstation 4 console.

While the Playstation 5 Update is already something to look forward to, the competition between Sony and Microsoft may heat up in the coming years when it comes down to creating the better gaaming console.

Official announcement on the tentative release date of the Playstation 5 can be as early as 2018.

Playstation is a home video game console developed and marketed by Sony Computer Entertainment. The console was the first "computer entertainment platform" to ship 100 million units after its initial launch.
