The Cleveland Cavaliers' solo lead in the Western Conference isn't enough for basketball superstar LeBron James after disagreeing with David Blatt's comments after their loss at Drake Night in Toronto.
In a report by Uproxx, it is starting to look like that LeBron James isn't really agreeing with their head coach's thoughts after their game. David Blatt mentioned in an interview how they were shorthanded, which was the primary reason of their loss.
"I thought that we got tired for obvious reasons," Blatt said. "Very short-handed. Thought our guys played hard and I thought we ran out of gas. I thought fatigue played a big part of that, I really did."
Reporters, on the other hand, asked the 30-year-old basketball sensation if he would agree on the thoughts of their head coach, in which he said that he wouldn't agree on.
"No. It's not an excuse," LeBron James said in contrast to the statement from David Blatt. "It's not an excuse."
"It's all mindset," James told ESPN. "It comes from within. I've always had it; my upbringing had me like that. It's either you got it or you don't."
Meanwhile, a Bleacher Report revealed that LeBron James held a players-only meeting after their loss against the Raptors, which is believed to bring the team back together.
In the report, James Jones also shared his thoughts of their sloppy play after the game, stating how they need to be consistent not only in terms of winning, but also with how the team plays on the court.
"It's indicative of how we've been playing all year," he said. "We haven't been consistent. We haven't been playing to the level of physicality and with the sense of urgency that we need to, that we set out to maintain."
How would LeBron James react on the next game after disagreeing with coach David Blatt?
