Oppo R7S rose gold smartphone may be the start of a new trend.
When it comes to choosing a smartphone there are usually a lot of things that are taken into consideration. Apart from the specs, the price and the brand of the device, consumers are particularly drawn to the design of a smartphone. Considering it is used by many as they go throughout their daily lives, smartphones become a fashion accessory as well.
While there are already a lot of colors and designs available for consumers to choose from, it didn't compare to the rose gold iPhone Apple released over a month ago. People went crazy over the luxurious pink aluminum design and how exclusive it was to the Apple iPhone. Smartphones may have been around for a few years already but there has not yet been a rose gold phone in an aluminum finish.
According to Mashable, a new rival to Apple's premium rose gold iPhone is the Oppo R7S rose gold smartphone. It is reportedly the first Android smartphone that comes in that shade, and there is a good chance that other brands will follow in suit. While the pinkish shade may seem like it would be more popular with women, on the contrary, men are actually the ones who are drawn to the color.
The Oppo R7S rose gold device looks very much like the Apple iPhone at a glance, but when it is closely looked at, one can easily tell that there are minor differences. The Oppo's take on the luxurious rose gold shade is much deeper and more pink as compared the the iPhone version of the shade.
The mid-range device features a 5.5-inch super AMOLED display, Gorilla Glass 4, 13 megapixel rear camera, 8 megapixel front, Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chip, 4GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage with expandable memory up to 128 GB, dual sim and a long lasting 3,070 mAh battery, as reported by Newsx.
The launch date of the Oppo R7S rose gold smartphone will be on Dec. 1, 2015 and will retail for $599.
