During the eigth episode of "The Testament of Sister New Devil" season two, Megumi Ogata was confirmed to be the next series Japanese voice actress to sing a new version of the opening song. Ogata will join the three other members of the opening song unit Metamorphose for its first live concert in Japan on Dec. 20.
According to Crunchyroll, the "Testament of Sister New Devil" season two opening song "Over the Testament" has so far been performed by Yoko Ishida, Kaori Oda, and Aki Misato. Alongside Ogata, the group will release an album that contains each of their versions of the opening song on Dec. 16.
For those who are not familiar with "The Testament of Sister New Devil," it was originally a light novel series by Tetsuto Uesu. The series of light novels were published by Nitroplus and was then adapted into a manga series by Kashiwa Miyako. An anime adaption of the series premiered in 2014, and the second season began airing in the fall 2015 anime season.
Crunchyroll, who is currently streaming both seasons of "The Testament of Sister New Devil" for fans outside of Japan, describes the story as follows:
"Basara Toujo is a high school student whose father has suddenly just remarried. His father then departs overseas leaving Basara with two new beautiful step-sisters. Little does he know, his new sisters, Mio and Maria are actually the new Demon Lord and a succubus!?"
It goes on:
"Almost trapped into a life of servitude, Basara forms a reverse contract by accident and ends up becoming Mio's master! Hijinks ensue as Basara finds himself in one ecchi situation after another. However, Mio's life is in danger as she is pursued by demons and heroes!"
