Among the latest "League of Legends" news that are making the headlines is the decision of the game's developer to punish players who display inappropriate behavior while in the game.
In order to address the numerous complaints of "toxic behavior" among gamers, Riot will, for the first time in history, lock negative players out of an entire system during the game, according to Polygon.
"If you're a player who is punished for toxicity or intentional feeding or so on, you can't get loot," lead game designer of social systems Jeffrey Lin told Polygon.
Although Lin said that while the company is still deciding at what point a player will be cut off from the game, he disclosed that those who are consistently tagged for improper behavior will not be given drops.
"We really want the system to be a reward," Lin explained. "It's a new carrot for playing with friends and for being a positive player in the game.
