Floyd Mayweather Sr. is back on tormenting Filipino boxer, Manny Pacquiao as he said that Pac-Man will only be remembered as the man who chased his son and lost miserably when he got what he wanted.
The two fighters squared off last May 2, with the undefeated, now retired American boxer winning via unanimous decision. The fight was extremely controversial on both ends as Mayweather was accused of making the fight boring while Pacquiao was criticized for not disclosing his shoulder injury which is said to be a defining factor on why he lost.
Fast forward, here's what the older Mayweather has to say to Pacquiao, who is retiring after his last fight on April 9, 2016.
"I'll look at him like a man that was chasing Floyd for years to fight, a fight that was an easy fight for Floyd. I told everybody that the fight was easy," Mayweather Sr. said via Bleacher Report.
"I don't care how long they waited, when the fight took place, Floyd did what he said he was gonna do and I don't think nobody was wrong in this situation for picking Floyd."
"The fight between the two, which Mayweather Jr. won via a unanimous decision, was one of the less entertaining fights of Pacquiao's career," he added.
Not only that, he also believes that should Pacquiao fight undefeated American boxer Terrence Crawford, the Filipino will likely lose that match. Instead, he suggested that Pacquiao should pick Amir Khan as he is more vulnerable compared to Crawford.
"I think Crawford can beat Pacquiao," he told On The Ropes Boxing Radio. "Amir Khan's got a glass jaw, if you look at him too long, he's gonna fall down. We'll see, but if Pacquiao hits Amir Khan good, Amir Khan's gone."
