Elizabeth Olsen and Tom Hiddleston showed how it was to try and fight for love in the new trailer of "I Saw The Light that hit online on Dec. 1. But in real life though, it was not the same for the rumored couple.
In the trailer that dropped via Entertainment Weekly, a glimpse on the rise to fame of Hank Williams, portrayed by the actor, was shown. But it also showed the dark side of the country star's relationship with wife Audrey Mae Sheppard as he grew famous and turned to other women. Despite the problems, the couple apparently tried to work things out.
"I need you with me," the Hank Williams character said in the trailer.
"You think you can treat me tight then?" the Audrey Mae Sheppard character said to which he replied "I can try."
In real life though Elizabeth Olsen and Tom Hiddleston got torn apart by their career as told by Star magazine. According to Celebitchy, the rumored couple that has denied in the past that they were dating, recently split.
"She just wasn't sure she could handle a serious relationship right now," an insider told that magazine about the break up.
The Hank Williams actor apparently has taken a leaf from his character and has been looking at other things to distract himself from the purported heartache.
"He seems determined to enjoy himself out here, partying late into the night with cast and crew," the insider added. "And no one can help but notice just how close he's gotten to quite a few of the gorgeous girls working on the production."
Elizabeth Olsen and Tom Hiddleston has been rumored to be dating since July. But in September prior to the split rumors, the Audrey Mae Sheppard actress insisted there was nothing romantic between them. The onscreen pair has known each other for years even before they got linked to each other.
