Novak Djokovic had the best season of his career and he gave all the credit to his new wife Jelena Ristic. Looks like the world number one has his heart in the right place even when he is soaring in his work.
According to ESPN, "It's no secret Novak Djokovic strung together one of the finest seasons in ATP history. He dominated so much so that he has no competition for the 2015 men's player of the year award... He collected 11 titles and reached the final in 15 of 16 events... Djokovic won three Grand Slam titles and reached the final at Roland Garros, He also captured six of the nine Masters titles and won the ATP Tour Finals trophy."
To top it all off, Novak Djokovic posted the cutest picture on his Twitter. Check it out below!
Novak Djokovic lost to Roger Federer at ATP World Tour finals this year, but in the rest of the game, he has been clearly the dominant one in men's tennis.
According to ESPN, Novak Djokovic underplayed Roger Federer's win with a bitter comment. He said, "I made a lot of, lot of unforced errors. Just handed him the win, especially in the second set."
To that, Roger replied, "It's not like he played terrible. I know he can play better. Why did he play that way? I'd like to give myself credit for that, quite honestly, yeah."
Sounds like Novak Djokovic was very disappointed in himself for giving away a match that he thought he could play well.
On other news, the world number one certainly knows how to treat his wife Jelena Ristic right. Seeing how he is still the world number 1 and how she just had their first baby, it must have been high time for Novak Djokovic and Jelena Ristic to spend some couple time together.
And days after that, the world number 1 also brought his wife to MTV music awards. What a sweetheart!
Novak is a family man through and through.
