Camila Cabello Prioritizing Shawn Mendes Over Fifth Harmony? Flirts But Deny Dating Rumors?

Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello can't escape being tormented about the real deal on their relationship wherever they go. Amid continued dating rumors, new reports has surfaced as well that the Fifth Harmony member has been apparently disregarding her group to promote the "I Know What You Did Last Summer" duet.

In a report on Entertainment Tonight, the Fifth Harmony member and "Stitches" singer were both grilled about the dating rumors at the red carpet of the KIIS FM's iHeartRadio Jingle Ball.

"We are just friends," the "Stitches" singer told the source above. "We're not dating."

"Yeah, we're just friends," his "I Know What You Did Last Summer co-singer added. "He's like, one of my best friends. He's amazing."

Despite the denial of the dating rumors, the pair still apparently flirted with each other during the event even though they were being interviewed by different people.

Aside from the Shawn Mendes rumors, Camila Cabello was also dealing with news that she's been neglecting her group Fifth Harmony.

According to SugarScape, she recently replied to a Twitter follower and insisted that she has been loyal to her groups and doing all her commitments with them despite having a different song with the "Stitches" singer.

"Actually, I've never missed a 5h recording session or any 5h commitment ever," she tweeted as quoted by the source above.

Camila Cabello also recently pointed out that her "I Know What You Did Last Summer" duet with Shawn Mendes happened spontaneously and was not premeditated.

"I remember when the duet came out with Shawn, it was like all the speculation about 'Why did she do this?' and 'She planned this,' and it was just kind of like, relax," the "Fifth Harmony" singer explained to Hello! magazine. "We wrote a song together spontaneously backstage. We didn't even know it was going to be released. His label picked it as a single."
