Fans are still awaiting with bated breath the official release date of "Pokemon GO."
Although there has been a lot of hype surrounding the roll out of the highly-anticipated game, developers have not yet given a definite announcement regarding the said roll out except to say it will be sometime in 2016, reported the Christian Post.
Avid followers of the popular "Pokemon" franchise are hoping that the December issue of Japanese magazine Coro Coro will provide more details on "Pokemon GO," particularly its actual release date, which has been a hot topic of discussions in fan message boards.
"Pokemon GO" is an augmented reality game which allows players to catch, train and do battle with hundreds of popular "Pokemon" characters in the real world.
"Pokemon GO" has been described as an immersive gaming experience wherein "Pokemons" such as Pikachu and Meowth actually live in parks, bus stations, and office buildings.
Gamers are hoping that Nintendo will speed up the development process of the game, which is anticipated to revolutionize the way the previous "Pokemon GO" titles have been played.
According to Yibada, "Pokemon" fans have a lot of things to look forward to as they wait for the game's release date.
"Pokemon GO" is expected to be a "game changer" that will redefine the way users will play the game.
And with the accompanying release of the "Pokemon GO Plus," which is a watch-like device that lets gamers virtually interact with their "Pokemon" characters, "Pokemon GO" is anticipated to be a major hit.
