With certain anime and manga series, the nudity may be a necessary portion of the story.
After all, it's hard to tell the story of a succubus without eventually coming to the place of nudity.
Fans of the definitive guide to the monster girl anime and manga tropes, "Monster Girl Encyclopedia," need not worry about that nudity being blocked by censorship. Seven Seas Entertainment has announced that they will release the book in North America uncensored and in full color.
Seven Seas Entertainment will release "Monster Girl Encyclopedia" on September 20, 2016.
Seven Seas Entertainment Editor-in-Chief Adam Arnold expressed much excitement that the company was finally able to release the book.
"The Monster Girl Encyclopedia is the defacto source/bible from which the Monster Girl genre springs. This is the book that I've been dying to release for years and it's finally happening-in glorious full color," said Arnold.
According to Seven Seas Entertainment, "Monster Girl Encyclopedia" will be released in a hardcover edition with 100 full-color illustrations of the monster girls, "including everything from centaurs, to succubi, from mermaids to slimes, from goblins to werecats" and much more. The book will be shrink-wrapped for mature audiences.
The "Monster Girl Encyclopedia" was originally created by Kenkou Cross and was first released at Comiket in 2010. Anime News Network reports that several follow-up versions of the "Monster Girl Encyclopedia" have been released in Japan.
Though you can never quite be sure with official exports of anime and manga in North America, it looks like fans of "Monster Girl Encyclopedia" will finally get an uncensored version of all the monster girl action they can handle in English.
