Funko "Bleach" and "Tokyo Ghoul" are up for sale.
Merchandise is the best way to share and announce your love for a certain character, film and the like. While there may be so many retailers out in the market that have similar merchandise, there are some brands that come up with limited edition items that are difficult to come by once all the units have been sold.
Anime-inspired Funko "Bleach" and "Tokyo Ghoul" vinyl figures have been officially introduced into the Pop! Vinyl family, according to IGN. From the popular and long running "Bleach" anime series, Ichigo and Rukia have been transformed into a cute Pop! Figure. One-Eyed Ghoul Ken Kaneki and Touka Kirishima from "Tokyo Ghoul" were the characters chosen from the series to become toy figures.
The Funko "Bleach" and "Tokyo Ghoul" are available for pre-order on Amazon and they retail for $19.99 plus shipping fees. The figures will get released on Feb. 29, 2016.
"Bleach" is a Japanese anime series based on a manga series by Tite Kubo of the same name. The series ran for 366 episodes which included 111 episodes of original material that wasn't based on the manga. It follows the adventure of Ichigo Kurosaki after he obtains the poweres of a Soul Reaper, similary to the Grim Reaper, from another Soul Reaper Rukia Kuchiki. He must use his new poers to defend humans from evil spirits and guard departed souls into the afterlife.
"Tokyo Ghoul" is an anime series and manga series. The story follows Ken Kaneki, a boy who becomes half ghoul after surviving a deadly encounter with his date who just so happened to be a ghoul. The organs of his date, Rize Kamishiro, were transferred into his body as she died when she attacked him. The ghouls of the "Anteiku" coffee shop take him in to help him adapt to his new life as a half-ghoul and half-human.
