"Tom Clancy's The Division" beta gets delayed.
A hype is always good for upcoming games since it gets more exposure but it can also be its downfall as expectations get higher and higher. "Tom Clancy's The Division" video game is one that has been talked about for the longest time and gamers who are looking forward to playing the game are a little worried that it may be "all hype."
The "Tom Clancy's The Division" beta was supposed to take place in December but, according to the Ubisoft Blog, the beta was moved to early 2016. This is because the developers want to make sure that the beta exceeds the expectations of the gamers who are looking forward to actually getting to play the game.
IGN reported that those who have pre-ordered the Xbox One version will have priority access during the exclusive Xbox One alpha testing phase that will take place from Dec. 9 to 12. However, those who have pre-ordered the Xbox One, PS4 or PC version of the game will still have access to the closed "Tom Clancy's The Division" beta when it gets launched.
The alpha testing phase will be the first time players will get to play a version of the game that offers more than just the Dark Zone PvP enabled areas. While this may be a major perk for gamers and helpful for the developers, those who get to play the alpha version will be prompted to accept a non-disclosure agreement to keep the game's content confidential.
"The Division" release date is on March 8, 2016 as announced during the E3 Conference that happened this year.
