Manny Paquiao will soon announce his opponent for his last fight on April 9 2016. Will he exit the sport with a win?
According to a report from Opening Round, the Filipino boxer will soon announce his opponent on Dec. 11. First thing fans should know is he will not fight British boxer, Amir Khan. Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn, said that Khan is now out of the conversation. Per Sport 360, Hearn told reporters "Amir's not got the Pacquiao fight."
Regardless, Khan will be fighting a world-class talent in Kell Brook instead.
"I always felt Brook is the obvious choice, but Mayweather and Pacquiao were big fights for Khan and now they are not happening...I have said to Amir that if we don't get this sorted in the next couple of weeks we will miss the boat for a summer fight," Hearn said.
Brook one million percent wants the fight, now I believe Khan wants the fight, so we will meet next week and I believe we will get the deal done."
This leaves American boxers Terrence Crawford and Timothy Bradley as the finalists for his last fight. According to Dan Rafael, Pacquiao's camp is leaning on a third and deciding match against Timothy Bradley.
Will Manny Pacquiao last fight result to a victory? Will Timothy Bradley be the correct pick for Pac-Man? Stay tuned.
