Christina Aguilera News: Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton Heat Up PDA To Prevent Her Return?

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton were reportedly bent on keeping the No Doubt singer's place in "The Voice" despite confirmed news that Christina Aguilera was set to return for season 10.

In an item on Celeb Dirty Laundry, it was mentioned that the dating "The Voice" judges were reportedly doing all they can, including apparently upping their PDA on the show, so that the No Doubt singer won't leave and prevent the "Dirrty" singer's return at the same time.

Though rumors that of an ongoing feud between the "Dirrty" singer and the No Doubt member were unconfirmed, the latest gossip said that Stefani has gotten closer to her fellow judges. They have reportedly been showing preference to the No Doubt front man thus posing a threat for the "Dirrty" singer.

The reports seemingly were far from the truth. Gossip Cop has previously reported in the news in November that there's no competition between Christina Aguilera and Gwen Stefani. The "Dirrty" singer even recently had a special dinner with Blake Shelton and other "The Voice" staff to welcome her return, as told by People.

The Stefani Shelton PDA on the singing show though have been seen by many in the past weeks. As reported by Hollywood Life, the No Doubt member even recently sat on the country singer's lap when she expressed her sadness on leaving the show.

"Let's just have five coaches," Shelton suggested in an interview with Access Hollywood as cited by the source above.

"I'm just going to have to sit on Christina's lap or something!" Stefani said in jest. ""Or Blake's lap!"

"I don't want Gwen to not be on the show, why can't we have a fifth coach?" the country singer also wondered while talking to Extra as quoted by People.

Christina Aguilera's return was confirmed last October, according to Entertainment Weekly. The news came prior to Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton's admission that they were dating.
