Retired Boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. Says Manny Pacquiao Fight Was The Most Important In His Career

Former P4P King now retired boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. is taking his sweet time reminiscing his glorious career and along the way, commended his rival for being the most important fight of his career.

Mayweather is referring to Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao, who he fought last May 2. Their fight broke lots of records and was easily the highest earning fight in boxing history. He won via unanimous decision but the outcome resulted to lawsuits and complaints.

Pacquiao revealed that he was fighting Mayweather with one hand since his shoulder got dislocated. This angered many especially those who bet on him but things have been settled now.

Now, Mayweather is proclaiming that his 48th match is the most important win in his career as he sees it as his career defining match.

"This [t-shirt] is in honor of my 48th victory, which is the most important of my career," Mayweather said via Opening Round.

"A lot of people said that I avoided this fight. A lot of people said that I couldn't win the fight. But I proved all of that was wrong, and therefore the fight against Manny Pacquiao is the most important for me."

Now, Pacquiao will be fighting his last match next year and his foe is yet to be decided. Mayweather warned his potential foe, Terrence Crawford that the Filipino is dangerous and he should be very careful.

"If Terence Crawford happens to fight Manny Pacquiao, I want to let him know that it's not going to be easy. Even though I know I made it look easy, it's not going to be easy," Mayweather told FightHype.com

"[Pacquiao] can fight. He's a lot better than what I thought he was. From me being in the ring with Manny Pacquiao, I take my hat off to him and I can see why he went so far in his career. Terence Crawford gotta realize that Pacquiao is bigger and stronger than Yuriorkis Gamboa, and he hits harder," added Mayweather.
