"Destiny" Xur is once again lurking at the tower ready to exchange his precious exotics for some Strange Coins and Mote of Lights. For gamers aiming to add powerful weapons and gears in their collection, read on.
This week, "Destiny" Xur is selling Helm of Inmost Light, Radiant Dance Machines, Nothing Manacles and a weapon, Monte Carlo. For gamers who are wondering if the Monte Carlo auto rifle is worth the purchase, here's what VG247's resident "Destiny" expert Alex has to say on the year-two gun.
"Statistically, the weapon has very low impact, even for an auto rifle. It does however have a higher rate-of-fire, and can be fired from the hip for bonus accuracy," he wrote.
"Monte Carlo can be used in PvP if you're running a melee spec. That's because the named perk reduces melee cooldown every time you deal damage with it. You also have a chance to completely recharge your melee attack when you get a kill. Outside of that, it's an average weapon in PvE and in general."
Lastly, Alex noted that it is a big improvement compared to its year-one version but it doesn't out-power the auto-rifles that are out there. The user suggested that it is best to add it in gamer's collection.
