"Boku To Wanko" dog collecting game is perfect for dog lovers.
When the "Neko Atsume" game shot up to popularity people didn't really care if they couldn't understand a single word. Whether players admitted it or not, the game was addicting. It had too many adorable cats and toys to pass up that its popularity led to the English version of the game.
While the cat game is still a lot of fun, the "Neko Atsume" developers Chronus S Inc. decided to give dog lovers a game of their own too.
"Boku To Wanko" is a Japanese pet game that, very much like its sibling game, is a pet collecting game app where players must attract and collect as many adorable stray dogs. It doesn't stray far from "Neko Atsume" and still has the same gameplay, according to Japan Info.
Vulcan Post reported that the "Boku To Wanko" game translates to "Me and Doggies." While most of the graphics and the general gameplay is the same, it reportedly has a catchier and less annoying piano-based soundtrack. There are a few differences between the dog and cat games.
There are 42 breeds of dogs and each toy attracts one or two specific breeds. Also, when to leaving food out, it doesn't need to be refilled like "Neko Atsume."
Gifts given by the pups have a different dynamic, they will only appear once so players have to check their gift inbox more often to make sure they don't miss anything.
Unfortunately, the "Boku To Wanko" dog collecting game is only available in Japanese and doesn't have an English version made yet. However, it is highly likely that the developers will create an English version of the game if it gains as much popularity as "Neko Atsume did.
Those who are interested in playing the "Boku To Wanko" dog collecting game can do so by downloading the game on the Google Play Store or on iTunes.
