'One Piece: Burning Blood' Release Date & Price Revealed, Say Hello To An Advanced Battle System

The franchise has a lot of fans who are full of expectations to what is coming next. There have been reports on an upcoming movie circling the Internet earlier this month, but news of a "One Piece" game is quite new.

Gematsu reported that the upcoming "One Piece: Burning Blood" game will be released in Japan on April 21, 2016 for Playstation 4 and Playstation Vita. It was annonced on the most recent issue of "Weekly Jump." The game sill reportedly cost $65 or 7,800 yen for Playstation 4 and $56 or 6,800 yen for PS Vita.

The game will feature a cel-shaded artsyle that is very similar to the anime series. This mades the characters and settings look like they are illustrations that have come to life. The game also has an avanced battle system where players perform stronger attacks and block normal attacks from enemies.

The "One Piece: Burning Blood" exact release date hasn't been revealed for North America and Europe but it is sure to happen sometime next year. It will be available on Playstation 4, PS Vita and Xbox One.

"One Piece" is a Japanese manga series that is written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda. The popular franchise began in 1997 and is still ongoing up to the present date. The storry follows Monkey D. Luffy, a young man whose body gained the ability to stretch like rubber after accidentally eating a Devil Fruit. He uses this new ability to his advantage, along with his crew of pirates called the Straw Hat Pirates, in order to find the world's ultimate treasure known as "One Piece" to become the next Pirate King.
