Ed Sheeran has finally teased about his new album after announcing that he would have to take a break from his social media accounts to focus on his record.
In a report by Billboard, the singer reportedly went on his Instagram page and announced that he would be taking a break from his social media sites, saying how he missed seeing the real world.
"Hello all," he stated. "I'm taking a break from my phone, emails and all social media for a while, I've had such an amazing ride over the last 5 years but I find myself seeing the world through a screen and not my eyes so I'm taking this opportunity of me not having to be anywhere or do anything to travel the world and see everything I've missed."
Furthermore, he revealed how he would be back by next fall and how his third album is expected to come very soon.
"To my family and friends, if you love me you will understand me buggering off for a bit, to my fans, the third album is on its way and is the best thing I have made thus far," Ed Sheeran said, hinting his new album. "See you all next autumn, and thank you for being amazing."
While waiting for his new album, Ed Sheeran revealed how he is also scheduled to have an operation in January to fix his busted ear drum.
In a report by Billboard, he said in Australia's Nova radio interview how he is scheduled to have his surgery next month.
"I have to have an operation in January on my ear because I stupidly jumped off a yacht really high up and smashed it," he said. "I landed wrong and it burst my eardrum so I have to go and get a graft, which means I'm not allowed to fly for a while, so it's kind of good, it means I have to stay at home."
