‘The Flash Season 2 Episode 10 Preview: How Will Wally West Fit In With Joe And Iris?

"The Flash" season 2 will now be in a long hiatus as the next episode will resume airing on January 19. Last episode, things ended quite well with The Flash taking care of the villains as well as preventing Patty Spivot from killing the Weather Wizard.

However, the biggest reveal of the show was when Wally West, played by Keiynan Lonsdale, knocked at Joe and Iris' doorstep which shocked them. Next episode, fans will probably get more from the West family and Jesse J. Martin spoke about his character's relationship with the newest West in town.

"It's pretty devastating for Joe, because this is an 18-year-old secret that his wife just kept from him, and the fact this boy grew up without a father really rubs Joe the wrong way," Martin told Entertainment Weekly. "It's something that he feels immediately guilty about."

"He almost immediately forgives Iris for lying about that." Martin added. "The reveal is way more important. His mind goes directly to that: Will I be able to have a relationship with this kid, and if so what kind of relationship am I going to have if I haven't been in his life since he grew up?"

Knowing Joe, once everything sinks in, he will embrace his younger son with open arms. Meanwhile, Lonsdale revealed that he initially auditioned for the Firestorm role, now played by Franz Drameh.

He didn't know that another big role is up for him to take which is Wally West. He revealed that he will sooner or later be Kid-Flash himself and his character likes drag racing, which is a no-no for detective West.

For "The Flash" season 2 episode 10, it looks like Patty Spivot's life will be put in jeopardy. Will it be too late for her to know that his boyfriend is actually The Flash? Watch the episode preview below.
